Chapter 2: How Does a Circuit Work?
A circuit needs a full loop to work. It’s like a circle that electrons can run around. If you break the circle, the electrons stop, and your light goes out. A simple circuit has a power source, like a battery, wires for the electrons to travel through, a switch to control the flow, and something to use the electricity, like a light bulb.
To make the light bulb glow, you flip the switch, closing the circuit. Electrons rush from the battery, through the wires, to the light bulb, and back to the battery. This makes the bulb light up!
